Description

Dove Doily: This pattern has instructions to crochet the doily shown. Vintage 1960s, from American Thread Co., this doily was named Dove. I have no idea why, but it is indeed a lovely piece. The lacy small circle center is surrounded by by eight pineapple petals with large shells placed between the tips. The edge is worked in a floral spray all the way around. Worked in Crochet Cotton the piece can be made to measure 13 or 15 inches in diameter.
