Crochet Pineapple Fan Scarf Pattern, Laura Wheeler 2934

Crocheted Scarfs:  The pattern contains directions for making a short and long scarf. The scarfs can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture.    The scarf may be made in four different sizes - long and short - depending upon materials selected.  See requirements below.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook 
or Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (700 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.
SCARFS MADE OF FINE COTTON 
Long scarf (15 x 40 inches) requires 7 (150 yard) balls of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton.
Short scarf (15 x 30 inches) requires 5 (150 yard) balls of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton.
SCARFS MADE OF HEAVY COTTON
Long scarf (26 x 60 inches) requires 3 (700 yard) skeins of Unbleached Mercerized Crochet Cotton.
Short scarf (26 x 48 inches) requires 2 (700 yard) skeins of Unbleached Mercerized Crochet Cotton.
