Crochet Pineapple Motif Design 1736

Crocheted Medallions: This crocheted medallion can be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs and pillows.  Crochet the motif at 3-1/2 or 50-1/2 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisement.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 1736 in 1938.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. Each medallion requires approximately 30 yards of heavy cotton or 21 yards of fine cotton.
