Crochet Pineapple Ruffled Doily No 2852

Pineapple Ruffled Doily:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  This pretty design, crocheted in No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, features a central pineapple motif that resembles a sunflower, surround by wide ruffled border.   When completed the doily will measure 13 inches in diameter.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was first marketed as Peggy Roberts R2852 in 1949, and in 1960 under the Anne Cabot brand.  

Materials:  300 yds Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 30, White or Ecru;   Steel Crochet Hook, No. 10 (Standard Size).
