Crochet Pineapple Runner Doily, Alice Books 7201

Crocheted Doilies:  These crocheted doilies can be made either of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. They can be used as buffet and luncheon sets or as odd doilies.  The runner will measure 12 x 24 or 16 x 36 inches.  The small oblong doilies will measure 10-1/2 x 13 or 14 x 18 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7201.  The pattern was included in the 1945 Alice Brooks Design Catalog.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook or unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.   The large doily requires approximately 375 yards of fine cotton or 525 yards of heavy cotton.   The small doily requires approximately 175 yards of fine cotton or 210 yards of heavy cotton.
