Crochet Pineapple Wheel Doily Design 756

Crocheted Doilies:  These two crocheted doilies can be made either of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The choice of the cotton governs the size and texture of the doilies. The doilies can be used as luncheon and buffet sets or as odd doilies.   This design may be crocheted in two sizes each large and small.  The small doilies are 12 or 15 inches.   The large doilies are 12-1/2 or 20 inches in diameter. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 756.  The newspaper description:  "A whirling wheel of fortune with pineapple crochet for its rim! You'll be proud as punch with these extraordinary doilies which cost little in money. Make a luncheon set or incidental doilies".
