Crochet Pinwheel Doilies Pattern, Laura Wheeler 333

Crocheted Doilies:  These crocheted doilies can be made either of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. They make very attractive buffet and luncheon sets or they can be used as odd doilies.   Doilies are in small, medium and large sizes.   The small doilies are 4 or 7 inches; the medium doilies 8 or 13 inches; the large doilies 12 or 18 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 333.    Companion doilies in oval shape was marketed as Design 431.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.   (The large doily requires approximately 325 yards of heavy cotton or 204 yards of fine cotton;   The medium sized doily requires approximately 150 yards of heavy cotton or 96 yards of fine cotton;   The small doily requires approximately 36 yards of heavy cotton or 24 yards of fine cotton.
