Crochet Pinwheel Medallion Laura Wheeler 2411

Crocheted Medallion:  This crocheted medallion can be made either of unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The medallion can be joined to form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs and pillows.  Depending upon materials selected, the medallion will measure 4-1/2 or 7 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2411 in 1940. 

Materials:   Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (150 yard) balls and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.    Each medallion requires 57 yards of heavy cotton or 47 yards of fine cotton.
