Description

Pixie Boots:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the slipper boots pictured. This is a beginner easy pattern using two colors of knitting worsted.  The sold is single crochet and the tops are in checkerboard style afghan stitch.  The pattern is sized small, medium and large. 

This i a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot No 5835 in 1958.   It was quite popular, again being released in 1959, 1961, 1965 and 1982.  

Materials:  Knitting Worsted, 3 (3-4) oz Black (Mc), 3 (3-4) oz Contrasting Color (Cc);  Crochet Hook #1; Afghan # 3,
