Description

Crocheted Bedspread: This pattern contains directions to crochet the spread shown. The block motif, hexagon in shape, has a central star motif in raised popcorn stitch. When joined, the 6-1/4 medallion, will take on a flower petal effect. Crochet the single or double spread as instructed, or continue making blocks to form a spread the size of your choice. This pattern, No 6401, was issued as a leaflet by the Spool Cotton Company, vintage 1940s.

Materials:

  • CLARK'S O.N.T. "BRITA-SHEEN", 35 balls for single size; 41 balls for double size.
  • MILWARD'S STEEL CROCHET HOOK No. 7.
