Crochet Rose Filet Chair Doily Design 525

Filet Crochet Chair Set Pattern:  This pattern contains directions for making a crocheted chair set. The center of each piece is worked in filet crochet, the border is worked in small medallions that are sewn around the filet crochet strip. If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the individual pieces can be used as doilies. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the center section of chair back and arm rest, also directions telling how the charts are to be used. Directions are also given for a chair set, doily and scarf made entirely of medallions.   When completed the chair back will measure 13 x 17 inches, the center section alone is 9-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches.  The arm rests are 6-1/2 x 12 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 525 in 1943.   

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 6 (175 yard) balls of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.
