Description

White Wool Blouse : This pattern contains directions to crochet the blouse pictured. This is a vintage ... and quite romantic ... pattern that goes back to 1944, where it appeared in an Womans Day leaflet. The official description: "Cross-stitch teams up with double crochet in this smooth blouse trimmed with ruffles. Crochet in fine white baby wool". The blouse features ruffled edges, v-neckline, short sleeves and shaped waistline. The pattern is written for misses size 34 only.

Materials:

  • CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY WOOL, 8 balls (3/4 oz. balls) of White.
  • Bone Crochet Hook No. 5.
  • 5 buttons, 1/2 inch in diameter.

GAUGE: 5 sts make 1 inch; 2 rows make 1 inch.

BLOCKING MEASUREMENTS: (Not including ruffle) Bust-34 inches; Waist-28 inches; Length of side seam-9 inches; Length from shoulder to lower edge-16 inches; Width across back at underarm-16 inches; Width across each front at underarm-9 inches; Width of sleeve at upper arm-14 inches; Length of sleeve seam-2 inches.
