Crochet Ruffled Doily Pattern, Alice Brooks 7049

Crocheted Doilies:  This pattern contains directions for making two matching star design doilies worked in either fine or heavy cotton. The ruffled edge is made in plain mesh.  This design can be crocheted in three sizes each of large and small to create sets.  The large doilies are 17, 20 and 32 inches.  The small doilies are 12, 14 and 19 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7049 in 1948. It was included in the Alice Brooks 1949 Designs Catalog.
