Crochet Shawl Collar Crochet Pattern No 16

Sun Ray Collar No 16 : This pattern contains instructions for crocheting the collar pictured. This detachable collar, which drapes to the shoulders shawl style, has pointed tips that replicate sun reys, thus the name Sun Ray Collar. The pattern was issued in the 1930's by Tower Yarn Co., as their leaflet No 16 in promotion of Tower Brand Guimp. This thread, a 50/50 cotton and rayon blend is no longer available; DMC Cebalia No 10 is a suggested equivalent.

Materials:   3 Tubes Tower Brand Guimp or 2 balls Tower Brand Boucle;   No. 4 Crochet Hook.
