Crochet Shawl Fascinator Design 774

Crocheted Fascinator: This jiffy crocheted Fascinator is made of Knitting Worsted in a very simple mesh with a black double crochet border, The colored dots are embroidered on mesh using scraps of yarn.  The finished size of the triangle measures 30 x 40 inches (along straight edges).  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 774 in 1945. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 (3-3/4 ounce) skein of white, 1/2 (3-3/4 ounce) skein of black and about 15 yards each of red, green, blue, yellow and brown (or any five different colors) of Knitting Worsted and a No. 6 bone crochet hook.
