Description

Design 5048 :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the slippers shown.  This is an attractive pair of slippers, perfect for lounging, around the house or car travel wear with purchased insole for added comfort.   The slippers are crocheted in Shell Stitching, giving it the textural look.  Make with or without the flower rosette - your choice.   The slippers run on the smaller size with Small (6 - 6 1/2), Medium (7 - 7 1/2) and Large (8 - 8 1/2).  

This is a Mail Order pattern purhased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5048.    The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1975 Needlework Album.  

Materials:  COATS & CLARK'S "SPEED-CRO-SHEEN" MERCERIZED COTTON, Art. C. 44: 2 Balls of No. 12 Black; and J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN" Art. A. 64:2 Balls of No. 10-A CanaryYellow and 1 Ball of No. 32-A Nu-Purple.   A few yards each of Watermelon and Parakeet Green "Knit-Cro-Sheen".   A pair of Inner Soles.   Elastic Thread.
