Description

Crochet Skinny Scarf of Wide Sash:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the scarfs pictured.  There was to designs here - both measuring approx. 6 x 60 inches, with fringe.  One scarf is in a mesh pattern stitch; the other in shell stitch.   Both are very  - beginner - easy.   "Use your favorite color to make these skinny scarves to wear atop your Winter outfits; or use them as wide sash on a perfectly plain dress to add color and interest.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2641.   The newspaper description:  "A beginner will love crocheting this easy square especially since it makes so lovely a design when joined. It is called Washington's Pride and will certainly be anyone pride who crochets it".

Materials:  J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN”: 4 Balls of White or 6 Balls of any color will make either scarf; or RED HEART 4 Ply Knitting Worsted in favorite color: 6 ounces will make either scarf;   Needle: Crochet Hook, Size G.
