Crochet Skull Cap, Beginners Pattern from 1937

Skull Cap:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the hat pictured.  This pattern takes us back to 1937 where it was introduced in Spool Cotton Leaflet L112 aimed at teaching young people how to crochet.  An excellent beginners project.  It is primarily worked in single stitch and blends three color yarns to from fun stripes on the top.   The hat is sized 22 inches.  There are notations to increase or decrease size, if needed.

Materials:  J. & P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen, 1 ball each of 3 colors designated as A - B and C;  Milward's Milwards steel crochet hook  (Use thread double throughout)
