Crochet Snood Pattern, Jabot, Laura Wheeler 570

Crocheted Snood and Jabot Pattern:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the accessory set pictured.  This pattern contains directions for making a snood and matching jabot. Both the snood and jabot are worked in a simple mesh using a double strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. The flowers are simple daisies cut from white pique and tacked to crocheted mesh with the crochet cotton. The snood can be made to fit any head size.

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspaper and catalogs.   The pattern was marked as Laura Wheeler 570 in 1943.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 (500 yard) skein of rose Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton, a No. 0 steel crochet hook;   1/2 yard of white pique and 1/2 yard of round hat elastic.
