Crocheted Squares:  This pattern contains directions for two squares, a pineapple and a filet crochet square and an edging. Squares can be combined or used separately to form spread, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles. Use either No. 30 or No. 50 Cotton.  Create the squares at 5 or 6 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 522 in 1949.
