Crochet Star Bedspread Pattern, Applique Flowers

May Queen No 661 :  This pattern gives directions to crochet the bedspread pictured.  The spread, worked in three colors, features an easy block with a geometric star ending motif when combined.   The gives gain dimension from popcorn stitching and an interesting raised petal crochet applique.  Squares are large - measuring 8-1/2 inches each,  Finish the spread with 14 inches of fringe.   "A lovely new gesture in bedspreads! • Clark's O.N.T Lustersheen, 52 skeins of White or Ecru for main color, 2 skeins of one contrasting color (referred to as "A"), and 1 skein of another contrasting color (referred to as "B") for a double size spread; 40 skeins of White or Ecru, 2 skeins of one contrasting color, and 1 skein of another contrasting color for a single size spread. 
• Clark's 0. N. T. or J. & P. Coats Six Strand, 2 skeins of a third contrasting color.
• Milward's steel crochet hook No. 5 or 6.
