Crochet Star Centerpiece Doilies Pattern Superior 322

Crocheted Doilies: These crocheted doilies can either be made of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. They can be used as luncheon sets, buffet sets or as odd doilies.   Crochet the doilies in large centerpiece sizes 20 or 30 inches or small doilies of 13 or 18 inches in diameter.  

This is a Mail Order Pattern purchased through the Sears Catalog.  The pattern was marketed as Superior No 322 in the 1940's.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook or unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No. 8 steel crochet hook. The large doily requires approximately 400 yards of No 30 cotton or 600 yards of heavy cotton. The small doily requires approximately 200 yards of No. 30 cotton or 300 yards of heavy cotton.
