Crochet Star Centerpiece Doily, Needlework Bureau 420

Star Centerpiece:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  "Crocheted centerpiece doilies are effective bits of decoration under lamps, fruit dishes, or for the center of the dining table. This star doily measures approximately 14 inches in diameter when completed and possesses graceful edging which adds to the attractiveness of the center star design".

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was was marketed as Design 420 by The Needlework Bureau in 1944.
