Crochet Star Doilies Large Small No 3061

Crocheted Doilies:  These crocheted doilies are to be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton. If finer smaller doilies are desired use No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook. The doilies may be used as luncheon and buffet sets, pillows and as odd doilies.  Doilies are in three sizes.  The large doily is 18 inches, the medium doily is 12-1/2 inches and the small doily is 5-1/2 inches.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly No 3061 in 1939.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook.  The large doily requires approximately 250 yards of heavy cotton; the medium sized doily requires approximately 120 yards of heavy cotton and the small doily requires approximately 40 yards of heavy cotton.
