Crochet Star Medallion Pattern Bedspread No R2784

Crocheted Star Bedspread:  This pattern gives directions to crochet a star medallion that is joined to create bedspreads, and then edging is added all around.  Each block measures 5-1/2" from side to side across center, and 6" from point to opposite point.  The finished spread will measure 98" wide by 112" long, or add/subtract motifs to create size of your choice.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R2784 in 1949.  

Materials:  43 Balls (400 yd each) Bedspread Crochet Cotton;   Steel Crochet Hook No. 7 (Standards Size).
