Crochet Star Medallion Pattern No 3101 American Weekly

Crocheted Star Medallion:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the medallion pictured.  Depending upon materials used, the star medallion may be crocheted at 6 or 4-1/2 inches diagonally from point to point.  Join the medallions to form tablecloths, scarfs, etc.  

This is a Mail Order Order pattern purchased through newspapers.   This pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3101 in 1946.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 9 steel crochet hook;   OR No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.    Each medallion requires approximately 32 yards of heavy cotton or 25 yards- of fine cotton.
