Stars, a fàvorable motif in old-time quilts, were equally popular with the needlewoman of long ago who crocheted lovely bedspreads, chair backs, and scarfs. that we today find most effective to use in our homes for many small accessorieş as well as bedspreads. The star gains in beauty by being a double one. The hexagonal medallion is so easy to make that after you have made two or three, you know it by heart and can quickly make one in the odd moments between the many duties of a housewife. Here is an unusually lovely one.
