Crocheted Potholders: The two potholders given in this pattern are made of four strands of Crochet and Knitting Cotton taken together. The star potholder can be made either of unbleached and two shades of the same color or unbleached and two contrasting colors. The pinwheel potholder can be made either of unbleached and color; two contrasting colors or of two shades of the same color.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers. The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 2731 in 1940.

Materials: Unbleached, skipper blue and delft blue Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No.1 steel crochet hook.
