Crochet Striped Stocking Cap PC1059

Striped Stocking Cap:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the hat pictured.   This fun design, originally a Coats and Clark's design, was issued as pattern P.C. 1059 by the National Needlecraft Bureau.  Crocheted in two colors of Knitting Worsted, the easy pull on design is striped with extra long stocking length that ends in a large tassel.  This one will be fun to wear.  

Materials: 

• COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, Art. E. 232 (1 oz. "Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 3 skeins of No. 1 White and 2 skeins of No. 909 Scarlet.  
• Crochet Hook Size G.  

GAUGE: 3 sts make 1 inch; 2 rnds make 3/4 inch.
