Crochet Striped Triangular Shaw Anne Cabot 5944

COLORFUL TRIANGULAR SHAWL:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the shawl pictured.   It's an easy design, extra long (hip length) in two colors of knitting worsted.   The design is pointed in the back, and squared off in the front.  It features a front tie closure and lush fringe all around the edges.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs. The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5499 in 1971.

MATERIALS:  COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 3 ounces each of Cobalt Blue, Nile Green, Olive and White; or your favorite colors;  NEEDLE: Crochet Hook, Size K.
