Crochet Sunnbonnet Sue Potholder Design 7492

Crocheted Potholder.  This pattern contains directions for crocheting a Sunbonnet Girl - her skirt unbuttons to become a potholder. Use Rug Yarn in two colors. The doll will measure 11 inches tall and her skirts are 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 inches each. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7492 in 1978. 

Materials Requirements:  Soft Sheen Rug Yarn, 4 oz, 1 skein each light blue and pink;   Crochet Hook – Size G Aluminum or No. 6 Plastic or English No 7;  1 1-/2" button needed [ Blue or any desired color].
