Crochet Table Mats Accessories Pattern AT Leaflet 43

Crocheted Table Accessories: This pattern contains all of the mats pictured. This pattern set is from American Thread Leaflet No. 43. The original pattern is undated, but based on paper and print, I'd place mid 1940s .... designs are by Cecilia Vanek. Included is two separate luncheon sets. The top set is worked in a combination of mesh and filet crochet (chart included) and has the central runner doily, as well as placemats. The second set is in what I'm calling a pinwheel motif and features a large, small mats, as well as glass mitts. The pattern does not state the actual measurements of the individual pieces.

Materials - Top Set :

• American Thread Company "Silkine" Pearl Cotton Size 5. White, Cream or Colors.
• Center Doily. 6 Medium or 2 Large Balls.
• Place Mats. 5 Medium or 2 Large Balls for each mat.
• Steel Crochet Hook No. 8.

Materials - Bottom Set:

• American Thread Company "Silkine" Pearl Cotton Size 5, White, Cream or Colors. 14 Medium or 5 Large Balls.
• Steel Crochet Hook No. 4.
