Crochet Trimmed Mexican Poncho Pattern

Crochet Trimmed Quexquemetl : This pattern gives directions to create the poncho pictured. The design is a combination of sewing and crochet. First sew the easy poncho (Quexquemetl) in wool flannel to included chart. Then, crochet the flamboyant trim, make the pompoms and stitch it all together. It's a dash of vintage 1960's fun for sure. This is a one size pattern.

MATERIALS:   Spinnerin Nylaine Fingering Yarn, 3 ply. 6 1-oz. skeins black;   Steel crochet hook No. 3;   3/4 yard white wool flannel, 54" wide;   White and black mercerized sewing threads.
