Crochet Turtle Toy Pattern No 5239

Crochet Turtle:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the stuffed toy pictured.  This is a easy design worked in 4 ply knitting worsted worked in 10 colors, making it not only a great scrap buster, but a colorful and fun toy.  Your turtle will be approximately 11 inches long, excluding the tail.  

This is a Mail Order Pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot No 5239. 

Materials:  COATS & CLARK RED HEART® 4 PLY HANDKNITTING YARN, Art. E.231 (Ready to Use Pull-Out Skeins): 4 ounces of No. 676 Emerald; 1 ounce of No. 360 Wood Brown; 1/2 ounce each of No. 602 Dk. Gold, No. 251 Vibrant Orange, No. 651 Lt. Olive, No. 584 Lavender, No. 848 Skipper Blue, No. 818 Blue Jewel and a few yards of black yarn;   Crochet Hook, Size I;   Polyester stuffing.
