Crochet Twinkle Star Bedspread Pattern, Eight Points Lace Design

The octagon blocks have within an eight point star features in two different formats. Joined together the stars almost take on a round medallion floral effect ... but no, definitely a star motif. Join the blocks to form either a single or double spread, or use the blocks to create scarves, runners and other cloths of your chosen size.

Materials:

• Lily Skytone Mercerized Crochet Cotton in Cream, White, Ivory or Ecru. Single Size-47 balls. double Size-59 balls.
• Steel Crochet Hook Size 8.

GAUGE—Each block measures 6" across when blocked and requires 81 yds. For a single size spread about 72 x 103 inches, make 12 x 18 blocks. For a double size spread about 90 x 108 inches, make 15 x 18 blocks.
