Crochet Vest Top Pattern, Belted, Anne Cabot 5574

Crocheted Vest:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the blouse pictured.  This vest design is a pullover with belted tie front, overlapping front and small collar.  Use it as a vest or wear it as a sleeveless top.  The pattern is written for small (8-10), medium (12-14) and large (16-18).  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5574.  The newspaper description:  "This vest, in easy crochet, has a tie belt for convenient wearing. You'll find it a favorite in your wardrobe".  The pattern was included in the Anne Cabot 1975 Needlework Album. 

Materials:  COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART 4-Ply KNITTING WORSTED ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 10 (12, 14) ounces of Yellow, 3 ( 3, 3) ounces each of Emerald and Cantaloupe;   Crochet Hook Size J.
