Crochet Wheel Motif Pattern Design 7247

Crocheted Medallion:  This crocheted medallion can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the medallions form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and other household articles.  This hexagon medallion can be crocheted at 4-1/2 or 6 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7243, as a second release.

Materials: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (700 yard) skeins and a No. 8 steel crochet hook OR No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 10 steel crochet hook.   Each medallion requires approximately 34 yards of heavy cotton or 25 yards of fine cotton.
