Crocheted Afghan of Roses Pattern Design 842

Crocheted Afghan: This pattern contains directions for crocheting an Afghan of flower squares with a matching pillow. The squares, 13 x 13 inches each, are worked in five colors of Knitting Worsted and then joined together to form an afghan that will measure 52 by 59 or a pillow of 13 x 13 inches.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 842.  The official newspaper description:  "Dimensional rose petals and leaves add a vivid touch! Too pretty to fold up! Use this lovely afghan as a throw on sofa or bed. Crochet 6-1/2 inch squares with roses of colorful knitting worsted".
