Crocheted Afghan Pattern in Diamond Motif

3833 : This vintage pattern, 1958 from Bernat, contains instructions to crochet the pretty afghan pictured above. The afghan is in block motifs, two colors, with tufts of fringe added here and the for textural interest and, well, Fun. The finished afghan measures 56 x 72 inches. There is a matching triangle shaped pillow as well.

Materials:

• Bernat Nylo Germantown (2 oz skeins) in White, Scarlet, Canary, Emerald Green and Blue Bell.
• 1 aluminum croceht hook Size I or any size hook which will give the stitch gauge.
• Cotton batting or foam rubber for pillow.
