Crocheted Apron Pattern Laura Wheeler 541

Crocheted Apron: This pattern contains directions to crochet the apron shown. This is a full apron with bib and skirt worked primarily in V-stitch. The body of the apron is mesh and surrounded with a lacy ruffle. One can, of course, make the design as a half apron as well. The pattern is one size.

This is a mail order pattern, purchased through newspapers and magazines. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 541.  The pattern was included in the Laura Wheeler 1949 Designs Catalog. 

Materials:  4 (250 yard) balls of yellow Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton;   No. 8 steel crochet hook.
