Crocheted Bedspread Pattern, Lancaster A-109

Lancaster : This pattern contains directions to crochet the bedspread shown. Called Lancaster, pattern number A-109, vintage 1958 from Coats and Clarks, is a quite attractive piece of fiber art. Worked in blocks that measure 5 inches square, the instructions are written for a single spread at 70 x 105 inches, or a double spread at 90 x 105 inches. Finish your spread with fringe if desired.

Materials:  CLARK'S O.N.T. MERCERIZED BEDSPREAD COTTON, Art. B. 504, or J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN," Art. A. 64:  For Single Size-70 x 105 inches (including fringe): 66 balls of No. 1 White, No. 61 Ecru or No. 42 Cream, or 94 balls of any color.  For Double Size-90 x 105 inches (including fringe): 86 balls of No. 1 White, No. 61 Ecru or No. 42 Cream, or 123 balls of any color.   Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No.7.
