Description

Beret and Square Scarf: This pattern gives directions for crocheting the accessory set shown. The design, vintage 1951, includes a jaunty beret with small pompom type top, along with a square scarf with a slit neck tie front. Both pieces are an easy crochet project worked in spots yarn. The beret directions are written for medium headsize and the scarf measures 16 1/2 inches square.  

Materials:   Sports Yarn, 3 2-oz. balls, 1 spool gold Lurex;   Steel crochet hook No. 00;   25" grosgrain ribbon 1" wide.
