Crocheted Bread Basket Doily Pattern Staff of Life

Staff of Life : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured. This vintage 1940s doily, from Coats and Clark, was typically used by our Grandmothers to line the bread basket on the Sunday dinner table. And, it's just as pretty now ... no reason not to continue the tradition ! The doily is oval with Staff of Life motif in the center; worked to included chart. The finished piece measures 9 1/2 by 13 1/2 inches.

• J&P Coats or Clarks Best Six Cord Mercerized Crochet, Size 30, 2 balls.
• Steel Crochet Hook No 10.
