Description

Southland Scarf & Brim :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the magnificent hat pictured.   First, crochet the loose net scarf, adjusting if desired to length of your choice.   Then, crochet the brim hat, which fits down over the crown of your head.   Put on the scarf and fit the hat over the top.   Soft, romantic and so very 1940s.   I've combined this beauty to a two pattern set - both the mesh scarf and the wide brim hat.  

Materials - Hat Brim :  J.& P. COATS KNIT-CRO-SHEEN, 2 balls of White, Ecru Or any color.;   Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No.7;   Millinery Wire;   3/4 yd. grosgrain ribbon, 7/8 inch wide;   2 ornaments (if desired)
