This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 692.  The newspaper description:  "Crochet butterfly bright afghan for warmth and charm. Jiffy! Do 8-inch single crochet squares while you watch TV, then crochet butterflies and attach. Use knitting worsted in three colors".
