Description

No 2763 : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the hat pictured above. A bit of a variation on the classic cloche, this beauty has a pleats, giving it a nice slump (similar to a berety) and side tassel.  The design is vintage 1945.  The hat is crocheted in Pearl Cotton with the tassel using the Knitting Worsted.

MATERIALS: - J. & P. COATS OR CLARK'.s O.N.T. PEARL COTTON, Size 5, 6 balls of Ecru;   CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 1 ball of Black;   Bone Crochet Hook No.5. 

GAUGE: 3 1/2 sts make 1 inch; 4 1/2 rnds make 1 inch.
