Crocheted Clover and Lace Block Motif Pattern for Spreads and Cloths

Crocheted Block : This pattern contains directions to crochet the blocks shown. There are two blocks here, a primary design with four a simple four leaf clover motif in the center, offset by a second lacy fill motif with sprinklings of clovers dancing through. Each of the blocks measure 4-1/2 inches square. Join them together to create spreads, runners, or whatever cloth you might desire.  Note:  The filet square is worked to directions; no chart is given.  

Materials:

• Lily Six Cord Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 10, in Cream, White or Ecru.
• Steel Crochet Hook Size 9.
