Crocheted Fern Doily Pattern Shell Border Mail Order 3122

Crocheted Doilies: "These two crocheted doilies worked in a fern design can either be made of No. 50 or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or Mercerized Crochet and Knitting cotton. They can be used as luncheon or buffet sets or as odd doilies." Depending upon materials selected, the small doily will measure 10, 14 or 20 inches and the large doilies 14, 18 or 28 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Design Pattern, purchased through newspapers. The pattern was marketed as The American Weekly 3122 in 1947.   The newspaper description:  "Crocheted doilies, like these, add beauty to your luncheon table. Large doily 18 inches; small 14 inches".
