Crocheted Flower Square Pattern Design 784 Bedspreads Tablecloth

Crocheted Square: This crocheted square can either be made of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. When joined together the squares form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs, pillows and mats. The edging on the scarfs and mats is added after the squares are joined together. The completed square measures 6 x 6 inches.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 784 in 1946.  " This pattern was also featured in the Laura Wheeler 1948 Designs Catalog and the Laura Wheeler 1951 Designs Catalog.  

 MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:   Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 9 steel crochet hook;   or No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.   (Each square requires approximately 50 yards of heavy cotton or 35 yards of fine cotton).
