Description

Hairpin Lace : This pattern contains directions to crochet the stole shown. A lovely piece, going back to 1952, the stole is worked on a 3 inch loom in strips and joined together with a crochet hook to make the 19 x 70 inch garment. It is quite nicely finished with long fringe on the ends.

Materials:

  • BearBrand Rococo or Fleisher's Paradisc "A", 3 skeins and
  • Bucilla Metallique, non-tarnish Metal Thread "8", 3 tubes.
  • Hairpin Lace Loom 3 inches wide.
  • Bucilla Steel Crochet Hook, Size 3.

GAUGE: 6 loops or 6 sts in Metallique = 1 inch
